i own the physical copy now and it's amazing incredible i tear up everytime this book is my favourite romance book ever because january is me. i am her. she is me as a book character. and i don't know what to say except please read this

brain is mumble jumbled. no words. how can i even compute?? beach read was just a complete and utter masterpiece and i will do unholy and unhinged things to own this book. if you know me in real life, please, please buy me a copy of this. i need beach read to function. you don't understand the utter depths of my heart this book reached and grabbed and held me and oh my gosh i lost my train of thought but emily henry, man.
where do i even start? maybe with the most relatable narrator i have met, january andrews. a romantic struggling to come to terms with life, but still keeping her original mindset but growing so much as a person and oh my god i can't even begin to express how much and how perfect and just i felt i cannot process:
this is not all happiness and rainbows. this actually has a healthy amount of angst, and a surprisingly amazing slowburn enemy to friends to lovers. the slowburn is SLOW SLOW but honestly so worth it. the loaded glances, the tension, so worth it. also i loved the little outings that both january and gus planned for each other it was just so realistic and amazing and omg still not okay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
gus has ruined me for all other men. he is so perfectly imperfect!! augustus everett ladies and gents.
