I loved book 1, but I feel like blood & honey is just drawing out the plot line. Some elements feel redundant. The conflict resolutions between Reid & Lou often feel forced, in order to give us a gratuitous scene, and then they’re at odds again. 
Really wishing this story had just received a proper ending in book 1. I’m not thrilled that to finally get an ending, I have to read yet ANOTHER book in this series. I’m not sure I can do it.
