An overall satisfying end to Eragon's story. I've always loved the way that Eragon defeats the Big Bad with
the power of empathy
, highlighting it as a theme of these books. 

I love Eragon's and Nasuada's chapters, but Roran's chapters failed to really interest me and I found myself having to push through them. And they're really the reason I don't find this a 5-star read (I am of the opinion that Roran kind of stopped being a super valuable POV character after Eldest, and that we could have any number of characters to give us the human, non-magical side of the war).
