The Crown of Fools by Candice Wright

Holy mother of bikers

This book gave me whiplash. I fell asleep after reading half of it and then dreamt about it all night. I must have come up with a million different theories on the direction this story is heading, but none of them leading me to the actual ending. This series has been so interesting and surprising. It started off in one way and then took me for a ride. Yeehaw!

This particular book continues that MC tradition of putting women in a position of being less than, but it seems all these incredible women from the series are changing their mentality and it's cool to read how attitudes progress through the books. All the women are saviors. They're tough and smart and courageous and fierce and everything amazing that women are. But they also like to be dominated during spicy times and it's a nice balance.

Kat's character is complex. Her story is devastating and adventurous. She's an amazing woman involved in an age gap romance and that brings on some other issues. Older men seem to think their life experience means they know best...nope. And they get a smack down.

The book ends on a cliffy of sorts, but that means there's more MC adventures in the future and that makes me happy. I'll have to read some of Candice's other books to tide me over until then. So happy I've read this series and this book was great fun. I loved it!
