Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë

4.0

My thoughts:

1. I really liked the cyclic nature of the story. The interconnection between the beginning of the novel and its ending was the aspect that I did enjoy.
2. Two main themes of the novel - love and revenge - were beautifully exhibited, portrayed through the characters´ actions (external method, which I like), developed and resolved in a very pleasant manner.
3. The only thing that I disliked was the character of Nelly. And because she was also the narrator of the story - framed narrative - I was not able to get over her selfish, manipulative and subjective narration.
