Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling

4.0

The Wizarding World is fascinating, draws you in and keeps you turning pages. Characters are likable and villains are well-written. Picked up on some connections to future books since it’s my first time reading as an adult, definitely a great one to reread later. Harry endures so much trauma, it’s sad really. See how joining a new world and being famous affects him and interactions with professors and friends. Not a big cliffhanger but stays open for the story to continue.
