The 6th Extinction, by James Rollins
4.0
Rollins definitely made a strong effort to up the "gross out" factor in this book! Yuck. I was eating during one scene towards the end involving certain mollusk-like animal, and felt my stomach churn a bit.
But it was an entertaining read. Full of the typical good-looking, physically fit, military trained, young, friendly, genius good-guys. A bit trite, but I can usually look past it. It seems to be a characteristic of the genre.
Well written books. I think it's always going to be a safe bet that a book by Rollins will keep me entertained. Good suspense read.
