A nice retelling of Little Red Riding Hood. I enjoyed the plotline, and Ruby was admittedly a badass lady. I wasn't a fan of the insta-lust (although it didn't quite veer into insta-love, for which I am very grateful for) and I did get a mild feeling of whiplash over some of the characters' actions / opinions, especially when it didn't seem to mesh with what I already thought of them.

And Lucas' attempt to put Ruby under his control at the end just made me wish he hadn't survived the werewolf attack. I'm definitely glad she put him in his place for it.

It was not a story I really adored, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Will probably pick up the next in the series at some point.
