Camp David by David Walliams

4.0

I picked this up on a whim and was surprsied how good it is. This isn't just another story of a comedian putting in the hours and getting his shot. David Walliams shows how much hard work and dedication is involved. Over a decade trying out ideas, working here and there, before finally getting something that really worked. It could so easily have not happened.
But this isn't only the story of how he grew from school comedian to part of the successful Little Britain duo. It's an honest account of every aspect of his life throughout those years. His stormy relationships and battle with depression.
I would not have described myself as a Little Britain fan particularly but this autobiography is a good read in it's own right.
