She Who Became The Sun by Shelley Parker-Chan

Did not finish book. Stopped at 36%.

I found it so hard to stay invested in this book with the massive time jumps and minimal explanations  and world building. I got to almost 40% and the magic system hadn’t been explained either 

The writing was beautiful but I couldn’t get invested in the characters.
