Lost and Wanted by Nell Freudenberger

4.0

This book was dense and it took me a while to read it, but I'm so glad I persevered! As a meditation on grief, it was excellent. Grief of the loss of a friend, a mother, a wife, a child...but more than that. Grief for the loss of a relationship, the grief that comes from misunderstanding, or from realizing that you missed something because you only looked at it from your own perspective. Hell, this even deals with the grief that comes from missing something you never even had to begin with.
