Love, Inevitable by Xana Jordan

4.0

Love, Inevitable (Colorado Mountain Novel Book 1) by Xana Jordan is the first book in her Colorado Mountain series. This is my first book by this author and I enjoyed it. Her writing skills made her story easy flowing and engaging. This is a book I had a hard time putting down. Her characters are both relatable and lovable. They took me on an emotional roller coaster ride that kept me reading until the end. This is the story of Adele and Vann. Adele thought she had it all until her plans went south and things went down hill for her. She was left broken until him. Though he brings her hope, she is careful not to fall for his promises. Vann has served his country with pride and has taught him to appreciate things in life. He has never failed an assignment and she is not one that he will fail at either. Is he determined to show her the inevitable? I enjoyed both of these characters. They have such chemistry together that I found myself hoping that they would just get it together. She has some insecurities that he is determined not to let that effect the best thing he has ever had. There is a past that threatens to haunt their new found bond. How will they handle the life struggles being thrown at them? I enjoyed the secondary characters just as much. They are supportive and help keep the story engaging until the end. I highly recommend this book. Find out if these two can learn to heal and find their HEA together?
