❝Damien didn’t raise his head, but his ebony gaze moved up to pin her. “I see you, cari.”

Something about his tone had her stomach tightening.

“Gods, how I see you.” Black eyes traced over her face. “I wish I didn’t.  It would be so much easier if you’d never come.”❞

This book was hilarious! I loved the chemistry between the Kara and the Damien. Their dry wit and flirting was really top-tier.

Damien's the "supposed" Villain but written with so many facets it makes you want to cheer for him instead of the hero (lol he's the comedic relief). Karalynn was the star of this book. If not for her funny POVs it wouldn't have been half as fun to read.

The book has a handful of typos and is in severe need of editing, but that actually didn't stop me from enjoying it. I hope Miss Gannon will come around to re-edit some parts because it's such a waste to leave the book published but unpolished!

If you don't mind some occasional typos like "liar" --> "lair", then pick up this book. I myself am a stickler for perfectly edited books but this one proved to be the exception.
