This book is funny, emotional and kinda stressful, but just a little.

This book is about La La, a veterinary student who grew up with burglar knowledge, and actually, a burglar herself. Obstacles started when her father was arrested for burglary and attempted murder (which he didn’t do, the victim had a stroke, but since he was there) and actually need funds for his case, so she started to break into homes. But her compassion and gift of communication with animals turned it into cute encounters with pets that are suffering in their own homes.

Those encounters were only a facade to the real struggles of La La. It also explored the world of vet and the personal struggles of being an animal lover. It also reminds the reader that pets are family, and should also be taken care of, and of course, the pain of losing them. I heard or read this line from somewhere.  “If pets could talk, do you know what the owner would like to hear. Second is “I love you.” First is “I am in pain.” Pets must be given care and attention, because unlike us, they can’t say they are in pain. All they can do is whimper and hoped to be given attention.

I had fun and got teary-eyed reading this book. A good book for animal lovers. ✨
