The Wrong Mr. Darcy by Evelyn Lozada, Holly Lorincz

1.0

I didn't enjoy this book I am very sad to say. It was chaotic and jumped around too much. The romance was awkward, and to be honest most of this story and the dialogue felt awkward. Far too many things are happening at one time and it feels like the basic plot got lost.

I love anything P&P related, but this was in no way a retelling. Quoting P&P at the beginning of each chapter and some characters having the same/similar names, doesn't make it a retelling in any way. Derek just wasn't likable, even when we are in his thoughts he comes across as a jerk. Hara is okay, but I wasn't really invested in her character. I liked the premise, but not long after starting the book it went off the rails.
