Did not finish book. Stopped at 57%.
DNF at a little over halfway through. I don't like not finishing books, but I couldn't read on.
The writing is beautiful, but the lack of action in the story made me dread reading this book. I have spent weeks trying to get through this book, but I can't torture myself any longer with how boring this book is. Maybe I will pick it up another time, but I don't feel I will be missing out on much. I am sad to say the main thing that stuck with me is how many times "Mother's undergarments" was stated in the half that I read.
