Don't Let in the Cold by Keely Parrack

An okay YA survival thriller which didn't have much to offer. The prose is descriptive and easy to read, but everything else was lackluster. The characters were okay—not exactly bland but didn't have much depth to them. The villains were more annoying than scary and didn't have any personality except for being bad for the sake of being bad. There was some lightly-entertaining banter between everyone but that also hurt the pacing as there were lots of pages of talking which didn't move the plot forward making the story less of the page-turner I was expecting it to be. Overall, a quick read that's easy to skim through that provided a few bits of entertainment.
