4.5

This book won’t be for everyone, in part because it’s reflective and emotional without much plot momentum and in part because the people are complicated and flawed just like real people. But if you’re in the mood for a book about family (genetic and chosen) and feelings, this is a great choice. I loved it.

In general, I predict that if you like the title (which I do!!), you’ll also like the book.
