This was a good time. Four sixty-something assassins marked for death turn the tables on their former employers. It's not what happens here, it's HOW: watching Billie and her friends get out of seemingly impossible situations and pull off intricate capers as they try to figure out who wants to kill them is sheer joy. I do wish the background characters were a little better-developed: Billie is the most well-rounded of all, which makes sense given that she's their nominal leader, but it would have been nice to get a little more backstory on the others. Still, a fun thriller to while away an afternoon with.
