This was a wild ride. For the last 1/4 of the book I was reacting out loud and trying not to read ahead because I was on the edge of my seat. I am newer to the thriller-mystery genre so I did not see the last plot twist coming, and I loved it. I kept thinking I knew what was going to happen/what had happened and then more was revealed. I also like that the characters were well fleshed out because sometimes that isn’t a focus in this genre.
I would say this book is medium paced. I read the first half over a couple days. There are other storylines so it takes a bit to get into, but I really enjoyed the storylines. The last half I read within a couple hours— it was addicting.
