Well-written and compelling, despite the fact that it is narrated in first person by Charlie, a character I truly could not find it in myself to care about. I much preferred Adam, the robot, and Miranda, Charlie's girlfriend. There are some very interesting meditations on the role of artificial intelligence, technology, religion, morality. I'm sure I'll keep thinking about this book.
