Ragdoll, by Daniel Cole

5.0

Detective William Oliver Layton-Fawkes, better knows as Wolf, has been called to a crime scene around the corner from his new flat. There's one body suspended from the ceiling but it's made up of six victims and one of the hands is pointing at Wolf's flat window. His former wife contacts him and gives him photos that the killer had sent her of the body - sent before the police discovered it. She has also been sent a list of future victims and when they're due to die - Wolf is last on the list. What follows is a race against time to find all those on the list and keep them safe, to identify this six original victims and what connects them and to track down the killer dubbed the "Ragdoll Killer" by the press. Fast paced and gripping from the start this has got to be one of the best books I've read this year.
