I mean, it's A Storm of Swords (even if it's just the first half), need I really say much more on why it has a perfect rating?
One comment I will make specifically on this first half though is how much lore dump it has, and of course, I appreciate it, a lot. I was expecting the last released book to cover most of that but this one does the job more than well enough. I guess that's why it is so beloved. It doesn't just have blockbuster political madness but mysterious magic to go along with it too. I think I'll repeat this in my final review, but this is the most well-rounded ASOIAF entry. It has everything beloved about ASOIAF, designed, crafted and presented perfectly.
