OH MY GOD! O!M!G! THIS BOOK WAS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT ❤️

I do not read romance. I have barely read a few books in this genre but this year for feb, i decided to pick this one up. I was already interested and invested reading the synopsis.

Olive Smith is the sweetest character I've come across. She's smart ofc but also so kind and amazing. She has her vulnerabilities and her bg is sooo sad. Right off page 1 i started rooting for her.

Adam Carlsen, omg! This dude Oh so moody, only smiling for Olive obviously was utterly perfect. In my head, Adam Carlsen is Henry Cavill and nobody can change my mind.

I loved all other characters in the book, olive's best friends and the professors expect you know who. The academic backdrop was fucking cool. Who would have thought? A rom-com at a biology research lab. Having a degree in life sciences and wanting to have a career in scientific academia, this is all i could have asked for. It was light and funny and sweet, while the book did speak about women and BIPOC in STEM but an actual and more of representation would have been great!

This is my new favourite and my comfort book! It had me grinning like an idiot and wanting someone to call me a smart ass by the end of it. The banter they had going, *chef's kiss* I love the ending, wasn't grand and life-changing for them both but perfect in the sense of an academic life.
