I feel like the whole concept of the midnight library could have been used in a more interesting way than the one we see being explored in the book, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. It's very introspective and makes you wonder how even the tiniest detail could've changed your life for the better (or for the worse).
Moderate: Alcoholism, Animal cruelty, Animal death, Death, Infidelity, Mental illness, Panic attacks/disorders, Self harm, Suicidal thoughts, Suicide, Toxic relationship, Car accident, Suicide attempt, and Death of parent
A wonderful read that makes you reflect on how we, as humans, are mostly formatted to be dissatisfied with the lives we lead and letting ourselves be consumed by regret until we eventually reach a breaking point. But does the perfect or ideal life truly exist? Is it attainable at all? A beautiful coming of age story about finding the will to LIVE.
