Godfathers and Thieves: How Syria's Diaspora Crowd-Sourced a Revolution by Elizabeth Dickinson

3.0

An account of Syrians living outside their country, fundraising to support the post-Arab Spring opposition. It's mainly told through the story of one such activist. There are lots of numbers/facts/figures presented, but it's unclear how reliable those are. The story is well told, I suppose, and short.
