This book was a fun and twisted read. I’d been hearing all about Gone Girl but never read or watched the movie so the twists surprised me. Honestly it was quite slow in the middle, it was hard for me to want to pick up, but once I got to reading I was sucked in.
My biggest gripe is the misogyny is hard to read about, however I understand it’s part of the characters and how fucked up they are. Both main characters harbor hate for women in different ways. It was quite slow paced for a thriller. l think its crazy just how the language used in the beginning of the book by Nick made him sound SO guilty.
Not a five star read because I haven’t thought much about it since finishing it and even had to look up the names to write this review.
