This is my first book by this author and it wont be my last. This is the sixth book in this new series I have read and I can't wait to read more.
Master Sergeant Evan Keeler has come home from war with battles scares that run deep. Keeler's life was turned upside down when the Humvee he was in exploded and his best friend, Flynn Parker, died. He doesn’t remember everything that happen before he was last deployed or while he was deployed but he does remember the bombing. Now he has lost his will to keep going and blames himself for not being prepared for the attack.
Jane aka January is Flynn’s twin sister. Jane was going through her own issues with the loss of her brother and I liked how the two of them came together.
