This book exceeded every expectation I had for it. I went in pretty blind honestly, not knowing exactly what it was about other than Evelyn telling her life story the way she wanted it told. And boy did she ever. From the beginning of the book to the end, you’re taken back in time and on a journey that leaves you constantly wondering what’s going to happen next. This is a story that is riveting, heartbreaking and just incredible overall. It takes you back to old Hollywood and lets you travel through the Hollywood scene and that kind of life and it is just beautifully written in a way that not many other authors have written books that I’ve seen anyways. But definitely one of my new favorite books of all time and will be rereading this many times.
