essentially a woman's mental health deteriorating. maybe i shouldn't have read this when i did, it was definitely a time when i should've picked something much happier. still, i didn't really enjoy this. it was extremely depressing, which i understand, but i didn't feel motivated to keep reading and i could barely finish it. despite the fact that i think i read it at the wrong time, i wouldn't reread it to see if i change my mind. purely because it's difficult to handle. i think it's pretty well written though, and i liked the style.
