I have never read this book I’ve only read the first one a long time ago but Suzanne Collins made me keep turning the page that’s how addictive this story is. I thought I loved the first book but I LOVED this one. Despite it not having a lot of cute scenes with Peeta (and me rolling my eyes every time Katniss said maybe she did love Gale and that she could marry him and have kids with him 🙄) I was still intrigued by it. This book was different compared to the first one that follows Katniss trying to survive the 74th Hunger Games this one not only is there a rebellion against the Capitol but her mockingjay is the symbol of rebellion AND she’s being forced back into the Hunger Games with the other Victors. AMAZING. I knew somewhat of what happened despite never watching the movies after the first one AND YET my mouth was ON. THE. FLOOR. The plot twists kept me up at night that I read this book in ONE SITTING which I never done before.

I’m scared what would happen to the last book since I’ve seen clips of it but I’m also excited to read it.
