An Abundance of Katherines by John Green

Rating: 2.5/5

John Green's books are usually hit or miss for me and unfortunately, this one was a miss.

Though I didn't hate the story, there didn't seem to be a point or purpose to the tale that was being told. If I were to view this as a one-off novella, I might be able to give it more credit. But since this was meant to be a stand alone novel, I felt like there could have been so much more done with it. As it was, there wasn't any real character development, it was too short to have any kind of real substance, and some of the phrasing being using could likely be considered offensive to many people, particularly those in the state of Tennessee.

Definitely not his best work. If you want a super quick, mindless read, this is for you. But don't expect anything more from it.
