I actually didn’t hate this one as much as everyone else did! although it was boring as heck 🥴

and once again, I think it’s because I read too many thrillers so if they’re too similar to another one, I’m instantly like meh 😅 and this one felt like the hunting wives meets the perfect marriage meets chaotic family drama

I was instantly drawn in by the characters, as two-dimensional as they felt, and knew that they were going to be tricky and shady as they come - but I wasn’t expecting for cassandra and jane’s group to feel like exactly the same character over and over 🥴🥴🥴 if you paid me a million bucks, I couldn’t tell you the difference between them all

MC shay immediately gets pulled into the group with glitz and glamour hiding all of the shady secrets, and I pretty much predicted how the entire story was going to go. however, the way that these authors write is SO captivating that I didn’t really mind being bored at times!

this is probably my least favorite of the author duo so far, but this was such a bingeable read that I would recommend to anyone looking for a quick thriller!
