I highly recommend reading this book, it's definitely worth it if you're a woman in your 20s still figuring life out. I laughed, gasped and cried.
I found the first half to be a bit confusing especially with all the time jumps. At one point she's 20 and then rewind to when Dolly is 15 and the fast forward to the next boyfriend, I got quite lost.
The 2nd half of the book I loved. It's written so intimately I felt like I was really seeing inside Dolly's 20-something head and holding onto every bit of advice she gave.
I'm 22 now but maybe I'll reread this book in a year or 2 and see if there's more I can take from it. At the moment all I can think is I wish I had the love of a friendship group like Dolly's.
