"No one can make you feel inferior without your consent" - Eleanor Roosevelt

I would love to discuss this book in a class or bookclub someday. This small book covered many themes, including mental health, existentialism, the patriarchy, and societal expectations. I can't say this book was always a comfortable read. At times I was alarmed by the protagonist's thoughts
(let's not harm babies, Keiko)
, but it was crafted around that discomfort in a way that only served to enhance the plot.

Although peculiar, to anyone who has ever worked retail or feels their life isn't moving as fast as those around you for personal reasons, then you need to read this book.
