Miss Tizzy by Libba Moore Gray

4.0

Beautiful story about a woman who spends her days with the neighborhood children. Each day they do something fun, like roller skating or baking cookies. When Miss Tizzy becomes ill, the children show their appreciation every day for a week.

Read aloud to students in school library, some asked if Miss Tizzy had died. While the book does not explicitly say this, it is reasonable to see why they would ask.
