This book probably is not meant to be funny, but I laughed out loud several times reading it. People push, slap, and punch each other left and right, willy-nilly, and it is hysterical to me. However, this book is also incredibly dark, and readers should be warned that kids die in horrific, graphic ways. There’s also a touch of sexism in here and sexual assault occurs. It’s horror, absolutely, that’s zany with no holds barred.
Graphic: Child abuse, Child death, Gore, Violence, and Blood
Moderate: Sexual assault
