his is how you write a horror short story! There was so much stuff fit neatly into less than 100 pages and just enough of the creep factor. I hate when there's too many shocking scenes without any character work or too much character work without any shocking scenes and I feel like this achieved a good balance. This was my first experience with JH but it won't be the last
