I am glad, I picked this book up on a whim, not even knowing if I'd like it enough to want a physical copy, let alone the special edition.
It is a beautiful story. A little cliché tropey at some points (which I didn't mind), but still had a few little surprises in store.
For me, the politics talk was a bit off-putting sometimes - I don't know what all the acronyms stand for and I'm not familiar enough with the US' political landscape and system. It did not hinder my experience as much as I worried it would (barely did).
I loved the relationship between Alex and Henry a great deal and had trouble to stop reading when I needed to. They are so sweet and fun and deeply emotional, romantic and intelligent! All the important support characters are wonderful, making for fun dynamics and just enough tension to keep it interesting without making it completely agonizing. Lovely book all around!
