Saving Teddy by Kaci Rose

fast-paced

4.0

I love how all these books tie into each other. Past couples are mentioned in each one so be sure to start from the beginning. Teddy is in a wheelchair and was the only one who survived out of his guys. He’s at Oakside but isn’t doing the work to get better until Mia shows up. Mia is working at Oakside for the summer. She is the nanny for her best friend and her husband who was also in the military. Mia has been through her own loss that her and Teddy end up bonding over. I loved how once Teddy saw Mia he wanted to start doing better when before he refused to do rehab. He has a letter that he reads multiple times a day and we don’t get to know what it says until Mia finds it. Teddy has survivors guilt so bad and really struggles to talk about what happened. There are ups and downs within the story that really add drama to it. I really enjoyed this book.
