Twisted Games by Ana Huang
5.0
4.5 stars. Fast-paced and full of great interactions, I can safely say I’m a fan of Ana Huang’s style though some parts may come across as corny at times. And while I understand why some people said it gets better in the second half when things heat up, I really liked the pining, which was heavier in the beginning. Both are great but I feel Ana Huang executes raw emotion really well so that “forbidden love” set up was written to perfection.
In terms of subplot I have no complaints as well; I’m pretty big on royal settings and this was no exception, and the introduction to Christian through his and Rhys’ exchanges was impressive and I look forward to learning more about him later on. Speaking of the other characters, we saw less of the friend group in this story since it’s mostly set in Eldorra but the occasional glimpses were so sweet!
My review may be limited but my love for this book isn't! I really enjoyed this but I don't want to get into it too much lest I accidentally spoil anything so I hope you all have a good time with it too <3 Thanks again to Definitely Books for my copy~
