Some interesting ideas. I'm not sure I completely buy-in (unlike [b:The Happiest Baby on the Block|13641900|The Happiest Baby on the Block and The Happiest Toddler on the Block 2-Book Bundle|Harvey Karp|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1355047183s/13641900.jpg|19257134] which was an incredibly helpful book) but I did try one of the techniques on a screaming, thrashing toddler this morning and it worked like a charm. (For the record, that was a combination of FFR and empathy.)
