Biting Cold by Chloe Neill

4.0

this book is exactly like the other 5, so if that’s what you’re looking for, this is the book for you! personally i’m a little tired of
ethan deciding that he needs to protect merit by pulling away from her, being cold but professing his love, etc. i’m definitely over the slow burn. I mean come ON, 6 slow burn books! the burn has been extinguished there is no burn anymore

anyways, I still love these books! like i’ve said before, they are nostalgic for me. also, they’re a good like silly crime novel that always gets resolved at the end and everything is always fine. I think that’s also why they’ve lost their pizazz for me, because the plots of these books are literally ALL the same. like can we have some internal house dynamics for a book? instead of some crisis that merit apparently is the only one who can handle… also I just don’t believe she’s that much of a badass sorry. the author hasn’t convinced me :/ but REGARDLESS, same quality of book as the first 5, I still enjoy reading them despite my obviously lengthy criticism lol
