There is a side character who is a trans man, and there is some on-page transphobia and deadnaming (by other characters, not from author). A huge theme of this book is the abuse women suffer in a patriarchial society, so there is quite a bit about sexism, domestic abuse (both emotional and physical), though nothing is graphic or on-page.
