In the second book in the series, we dive into Soledad. We start with seeing a healthy co-parenting relationship and more focus on the kids. In the first part of the book we address the tension in her marriage we picked up on in book one. I didn't see the twists and turns coming in part one. A little of Part One was a little predicted, but I think it was a bit of and switch to keep us off guard.

In the second part of the book, we see Soledad adjust to life after the drama in part one. (I'm not trying to give too many details or spoilers). I love how in part two we see the positive reinforcement for her girlfriends and sisters through all the changes in her life. Instead of asking what she needs, her friends just give her what she needs. I love how even in her own stuff, she's able to take time to be there for another lady who's dealing with a medical crisis. I'm hoping this new friend is an additional book in the series or we hear more about this character.
