Listened to the audiobook, which was a new experience and may have colored my review, as it's possible I missed details in the "reading." Additional caveat, I was unaware there was a "dark academia" genre.
I liked the storyline, but think the book could have been written a bit better. Some parts were predictable, but there were a few surprises.
