I felt really detached from this book. I don't know if it was the formatting (four POVs, going minute by minute) or maybe the horrible nature of the situation. It was a well written story, and I know based on the Q&A and author's note at the end that they had good intentions, but it was just difficult to feel emotionally connected to.

This is not the blame of the author or the story, but this book was almost advertised as a thriller, which is off-putting.
