There is a lot going in this book! If you’re familiar with the Odyssey, this is Penelope’s side of things. A patient woman waiting for her husband to return home after about 20 years. She is trying to ward of suitors who all have their own take on the situation. The main players are Andraemon and Kenamon aka my least favorite and my favorite of the suitors. I love how we get to see Elektra and Orestes and their quest to find Clytemnestra after she killed Agamemnon . There are so many characters in this that I often forgot who was who but that’s just the beauty of Greek myth retellings, they all come together. Hera is also a hilarious narrator & her commentary on everything going on is the best!
