In Search of Lost Time by Marcel Proust

Did not finish book. Stopped at 1%.

I picked up this book because it was mentioned in one of my favourite graphic novels (Fun Home by Alison Bechdel), but I honestly could not get into it. Only read a handful of pages, but even from that little, I was dreading continuing. The writing just seemed to be dragging along with no real direction. While I do love a novel that's all vibes no plot, I need something to stand out to me within the first 20-ish pages for me to continue, and nothing here caught my attention. 

I'm sure this is a beautiful collection of literature, but I don't think this will be a read for me.
