Berserk, Vol. 4 by Kentaro Miura
5.0
There will be no spoilers.
Kentaro Miura is just unbelievable!
I mean I do get that you have to give your characters a believable and compelling backstory but jeez .... not like this. To Miura, nothing is too off limits or sacred to use as a plot device. Barely a page into the fourth chapter, he dropped the most gruesome scene I have ever seen (and probably will ever see) in any manga.
I think most people already knew that Berserk is a dark manga but Miura sprinkles some hope throughout the manga that just makes it weirdly enjoyable.
